Green

These large mature trees border the mill race visible at the bottom of the picture and hang over the water in a typically English scene of green leaves and subdued reflections. Behind them lies a tract of scrubland that was once the garden of a large, and recently restored, private house. The land is no doubt a paradise for wildlife but will inevitably be developed for housing as it's bordered by other new developments and the pressure to build is understandably high. I'm sure they'll keep the trees though so I hope that will minimize the impact on the animal life.
