Delphiniums

Back in the winter Oreste who helps with our garden brought lots of clumps of plants that he had cleared from other clients' borders. We didn't really know what was what but planted them in an empty bed....and waited!

Imagine my surprise when the biggest clump turned out to be delphiniums. Here are the first few coming into bloom.
