Valentin's day is over

Hot day in Paris. Started off with C and I each going for a run. Mine was to the Parc Butte-Chaumand, through the park, to the canal basin and along the canal to the NE.
After that we took a picnic to the Parc de Belleville then walked down through the Marais to Notre Dame and Shakespeare and Co where I
bought a couple of Wodehouse books. They offer to stamp the flyleaves with their logo!
Then on through the Louvre (crowds including a Chinese couple incongruously having their wedding photos taken) to the Tuileries where we sat in the reclining metal chairs and watched the people and the pigeons.
Metroed it back to the 19th to meet H and then a meal at a place called Valentin where they served excellent fish and laid on a cute dog in a cone...
