Ledebouria socialis, sometimes called Silver Quill
It is time to offer an entry to the Tiny Tuesday challenge.
I am in a rush as I want to watch the live Jeff Sessions testimony from Washington and I have to cook supper at the same time. This is an attempt to capture the extremely tiny and delightful flower of Ledebouria socialis, sometimes called Silver Quill.
It arrived here as a volunteer on a completely different plant I purchased many years ago, and I've nurtured and propagated several more of these plants ever since. I made it suffer over the last winter, by mistake, but it has coming back in fighting form as you can see, I'm very pleased to say.
I haven't fulfilled the requirements for this specific Tiny Tuesday 107 challenge, but it is small. I would say that each flower is no wider than 5mm.
