Nettle weevil

I felt a little mean yesterday choosing the leaping deer over my new find, the nettle weevil (but thank you all for your love and attention (shhhhh! Don't tell him!)).  So, where do you make it up to the little species but, back in the nettle patch.

This fella is apparently younger than the one I found yesterday. His virescent velvet suit is looking quite pristine whereas his elder relative yesterday was looking sadly threadbare.

It's a bit treacherous taking photos in the nettles so I encouraged this guy out and placed him back on the very leaf I found him.
