Walking at Melrose

Our club walk today started at Melrose Abbey, which I have pictured, and did a good route up the Eildon Hills, over the bealach and down to Bowden, before walking out to Newtown St. Boswells, where the coach picked us up.

We had a great day, and after changing from our sweaty walking gear we headed to the Lauderdale Hotel where we had a meal, great service, before heading home.

Our weather was great, not at all like the forecast which was for a dull day with a bit of rain...... we had sunshine and it was warm!!!!
