New community dance project

Just managed to snap Natasha Gilmore (left) and Jade Adamson at the end of the first Taster session in the Macrobert dance studio this afternoon.

This is the start of the Ultra Violet Project, an inter-generational community dance organised by the Macrobert Arts Centre.

It is over-subscribed- not surprising since Scotland has got this campaign on to Get Scotland Dancing.

Three of us from the Keep Dancing class and the tap dancing class have signed up.
Well, we are the only ones of a "certain age" but we have decided to give it a go.


Natasha is the artistic director from Glasgow's Barrowland Ballet and comes with impressive credentials.

What will she make of us in Stirling?
