Watching Crows

We took our regular walk today then came back and sat in the courtyard and enjoyed the view. We watched a crow fly in with food in its beak. Two times it did this routine of soaking the food in the fountain then setting it on the ground and covering it with rocks. At one point a partner / competitor crow flew in and moved one of the buried bits up to a rain gutter. Before I left I went to take a closer look at one of the covered bits. It was white bread, very much like the baguette leftovers I put out on my deck yesterday.
