Stormy Day at Akaroa

It sure has a been a stormy 24 hours here in Akaroa. No hail, snow and not too much rain today.. we got that all yesterday. The winds are gale force. You may not to be able to see that in this shot very well. I was just about blown away taking it. The Flowering Cherry tree you can see had lots of leaves yesterday and now it only has very few.

If I didn't have to come home today I would have stayed another night. The road was partly blocked because of a fallen tree when I was going over the hills back to Christchurch. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long.

Lots going on just now so I will try and catch up with everyone when I can. Thank you all for the wonderful comments, stars and hearts xxx
