Saturday in September

A lovely cool day in Northumberland....the changing of the season is at hand and the crisp air of the fall is in the breeze.
As an advid lover of all types of Hydrengia's, their beauty, the little love and attention that they need, this mauve one has been sequestered in my garden for more than 10 years. This is only the second time that it has flowered and what a show of magnificant colour it is shouting out.
Truly one of my favorite seasons in the garden.
