A Gull

Even turning this image to B&W didn't improve it. Shot down to the wharf late after hospital visiting thinking I might take a photo of the terns. Howsoever not a tern in sight so maybe they migrate, I know nothing about birds. This lone gull sitting high up on a pole was my only option.
Should have taken a photo this morning of my washing on the line it was so breezy the sheets were dry in record time.

Went to visit one of my elderly friends only to find he had a fall and had been whisked off to hospital from the home he was in.Went up to the hospital, what a mess broken nose, cut face and not sure what else, they were still waiting on scan results.
Old age for some is jolly hard work.
