Victoria Harbour

Yesterday the most exciting feature of my day was a whale watching trip on a zodiac boat. Wow those things can travel fast though you have to be prepared for a bumpy ride and some spray. We did manage to see some whales but mainly just dorsal fin views. At the time that felt fine but I then looked at the photos of the previous day's viewings on the net and saw they had had some real close- up pictures. I haven't bother to blip my photos as even with a 600mm lens they are tiny. Instead I have shown one of the seaplanes. Victoria harbour is one of the busiest places for seaplanes and they can handle up to a thousand flights a day.
