Harvest

I'd been chatting to the farmers brother last week and mentioned my Fieldwatch field (that's the one over there - and my Fieldwatch blip is finally up to date).

He said he would give me a shout when they came to harvest it, and tonight I got the call. Unfortunately it was already getting pretty dark, and in the end a rain shower meant it has had to be put off til tomorrow - all the better light for me.

But I did get a few shots of harvest in the gloaming, and a ride in the harvester...

(Although this crop is wheat, the last to come in, a lot of the fields around here were barley. The silhouette in the distance in the distance is the old malt house - now converted to flats)
