Philippa Gregory

Our library was due to be closed early this year and the only option was to open it as a volunteer-supported Library. Today the library, now known as The Globe, was opened by local celebrity and author Philippa Gregory. Her book The White Queen was adapted for TV a couple of years ago. After she had unveiled the plaque she very kindly posed for the photographers.
