Short Eared Owl

We saw this beautiful Short Eared Owl hunting by the roadside as we drove along. They hunt in the day so are easier to see than most of the other owls.

We went for a walk on the beautiful Baleshare beach then explored the ruins of an old monastery close to where we were staying.
