Keeping watch!

I managed to fit in a walk round the loch before the heavens opened and the heavy rain started.

These two Greylag geese have no goslings so were well away from the nursery area. The youngsters are growing and the eldest group of Canada goslings are really beginning to look like the adult birds with the dark head and white chin strap.

Grass cutting and some general tidying up is on the agenda for tomorrow ..... I'm off to Fife on Sunday and leaving the grass like a wild flower meadow is not a good idea .... it's not quite as bad as that but it does need a hair cut.
