Out of my depth?

I love shallow depth of field and differential focus, so I was excited when a £15 adapter arrived. It allows me to fit a 40mm f/1.4 Olympus Pen F lens on my NEX 7. I haven't had much time to play but the image above shows just how small the depth of field can be. Shot at f/1.4 with the camera setting exposure and WB
