A bit of retail therapy was on the cards after our flight back to the capital. Cashmere is a major product for Mongolia and there were so many beautiful coats, dresses, scarves and hats that it was impossible to resist. I spent far more than I had intended on a wrap, decorated with scenes of Mongolian life. Expensive, but an unusual souvenir which will be treasured for years to come.

An early start tomorrow for our flight home - I'm going to miss Mongolia!
