Carsington Water

We walked around this reservoir today, 8 miles in total. This was our view when we stopped to eat our picnic lunch. Beautiful place.

This was a previous visit earlier in the year.

Half way round, we came across a wooden hut which we thought was just a shelter but found it was an amazing house full of life-size carved wooden furniture and objects such as a piano, old style telephone and a TV!  See extras.
