farmed
started off the morning slowly. still felt a bit ill this morning so I've been reading a lot of what I want to read (something about doing homework/grading while sick makes me feel sicker--odd, huh...): Murakami, an interesting biography about Diane Arbus, and now a smooth photography book picked up at Half Price today for super cheap (and still in shrink wrap!). clearly, this was the inspiration for today's Blip.
after finally getting out of the house by 1PM, we headed into Arlington towards my office but never really made it there--had lunch at the weird Whole Foods, ate some chocolate, sat outside (the mildest day in some long, long months), deciding that we needed to stay outside as much as possible. Leah and I headed back to FW and walked around Trinity Park, feeding ducks, taking pictures. then the bookstore and this little farmer's market we'd always seen but never walked into--and now back making dinner with the okra, squash, zucchini, tomatoes we bought and some crab cakes from Central Market.
things are good but we've made a vow to get into productivity mode tomorrow (we have to). oh, and check out yesterday's Blip of Pat's family--I really liked how that one came out.
