Growing up

Another day  Stowe and the blip this week is of a little family in the shade on a very hot day.

The lambs are growing up, mother has been shorn of her winter coat, it is summer. They belong to a famer who is a National Trust tenant. I have watched these lambs from the time they were born until now. They went through a tricky period a few weeks ago when the grass was very slow due to the dry weather. The grass has recovered and is growing well,. So well that many farmers have been making silage and hay, ready for next winter.
