Sizergh Castle

While up north we took the opportunity to visit another National Trust location.  This is Sizergh ( it's not really a castle) as seen across the mirror lake.  It would have been better with still water but the family of swans with their cygnets would not keep still!  There is the most wonderful and very old rock garden here and also a stumpery with beautiful ferns.
