FlowerFriday16 Mellow Yellow

Today's blip features yet another of our newer roses: sorry, really can't remember what it's called. I managed a few minutes this morning to pop out and take a couple of shots for today's challenge and was pleased to see this hoverfly  to add interest to my picture.
In extras, my alternative flower, Violet.  These days I only seem to capture her asleep, as she's not so keen on being photographed now.

No time to write anymore tonight other than to reflect that it has been a very sad week, on a personal level with the loss of Violet's other grandma and also the  horrific loss of life in North Kensington  on Wednesday.
