Purposeful

Busy doing close down stuff at the coffee emporium.

There is a sense of optimism at work. We have lots to do, but it feels like there is an appetite to rise to the challenges we currently face.

I have had lovely moments today - positive feedback from the bigwigs at the council; a student busting with pride at herself for having tackled an assessment that, earlier this week, she was adamant she couldn't do (and an opportunity to tell her how proud I was that she had adjusted her attitude and that she had tackled it head on. Her friends were openly telling her how proud they were too. It was lovely to see); conversations with people I have massive respect for; problem solving and forming plans with people. It's just been a great day.

Now though, it is definitely time for bed.
