Glass Pyramid

I'm reading Peter Carey's 'Oscar and Lucinda' at the moment and last night reached the part where Lucinda is about to buy the Glassworks at Darling Harbour. She meets with Denis Hasset with a view to having him act on her behalf and there are some wonderful descriptions of Mr Hasset's small glass collection. 

On the basis of that, which fits so well with my own love of glass, I decided to photograph one of my other glass decorations this morning. The main shows the main area of decoration inside the roughly pyramid shaped piece, whilst the extra shows a part of this in greater detail - almost like a sea of suspended sand and bubbles.
