As high as me on the Popular page

I'm not sure what was the best part of the day. Seeing three kereru/wood pigeon sitting high on a wire or being the highest I have ever been on the Popular page. The latter thanks to you all for dropping by and giving me blipday wishes and hearts.

This will probably be a blip snap with Blipmate Lizellen. It doesn't happen often. We drove around looking for inspiration. Wandered at the Riwaka river mouth then saw the kereru. 10 minutes later and with wet feet  we had our blip. We should have just sat in the car and waited.

This is a good start for the fourth year. Many thanks to you all for the continuing support. But special mention to Blipmate who every Saturday for the last many years has gone walking with me, then walking with camera, then more camera than walking but will never give in. We sat on a log thinking we probably didn't have much worth blipping today. We found some bits for the blip box then got the pigeons on the way back. "Something always turns up" is our mantra.
