Our first day just the two of us....

We spent the night at the Hotel Diamond and woke up to clear, crisp, sunny skies. It was the expected cold, desert air, but soon warmed up to mid 80's.

We spent the day driving through the Steens Mountain Loop and loved every minute of the bumpy, gravel road. As much as I absolutely love my 3 monkeys, these past two days have made me realize how much M and I need some time to ourselves. What an incredibly relaxing day we had together.
