Red Throated Diver

The first of my back blips as we've been on holiday.... Our main trip this year was to Iceland to photograph Sub-Arctic Birdlife with Natures Images. After landing in Keflavik we headed off to to check into our accommodation in a small town and then head out for our first evening of photography. We weren't disappointed, there were a plethora of waders perched on posts and in pools along the way to our bird reserve destination.

This is my favourite shot of the evening, a Red Throated Diver on it's nest in the evening (11pm!) sun.
