Homeward bound

Late blip, apologies.

Yesterday was the great trek home from the Lakes which was actually a good run. We felt for the others in the tail back on the other side of the motorway. Time just ran away with me though.

The weather was also dry and sunny which makes a long drive more pleasant.

The above view is the view yesterday when we awoke, simply stunning. The only dry morning all week. That said the subtle weather the rest of the week did make for cracking shots and a wonderful time (but wet).

I was quite sad to leave such a beautiful place but that all melted away when i saw the cat and we entered the front door at home.

Still, I shall be holding on to the holiday feeling for a few more days and the memories for a long time.
