Haunting Crow

From last night (4 am) and still trying every now and then, we have had this Corvus corone battering at various windows of the house, always at a West or South window, apparently trying to get in. He taps disconcertingly seriously on the glass, flaps his wings heavily, and leaves after a few moments. The sound is heard from all parts of the house. Picture me tottering round the house with iPhone at the ready, hiding behind the sofa, creeping round doorways...! There! I can hear him now!!!
