Queen Ruby waves to her Subjects!

It's our Village Children's Gala today and the sun is shining.  We have been down to the village centre to see the parade going through to the Gala Field and now we are having a cuppa before clocking in for our shift on the Clown Game.

Our neighbour's daughter Ruby was selected to be Gala Queen this year.  The names are drawn out of a hat at the youngsters' annual Gala Disco.  Here she is,  centre stage, waving to the crowds as the parade passes through the village.
