Downtown Cairo

I met a friend for coffee late afternoon. He was fasting but still was happy to meet. Many tell me it tests their resolve.

The view is one of many similar. The buildings are old and gracious, designed by 'foreigners' as we get called. Very few locals appreciate how architecturally unique and special this area is.
