American Bald Eagle

My friend and I had planned a walk for today but with the intense heat we decided instead to go to the Summer Solstice Weekend at the National Trust Site at Sutton Hoo.   This American Bald Eagle was part of the Birds of Prey display.

It was interesting to see the displays of the Anglo Saxon Re-enactment group The Wulfheodendas some members had come from Germany and Scandinavia, and watching a lady doing 'Naalbinding' an ancient form of knitting/crochet work.
