One of those days

Up early and heading for Whakatane , in the rain, the phone call comes, and I pull over, the weather over there is just abysmal, turn round , OK then , still in time for the club meeting, off to that, back home and in this weather no one wants to go outside, dogs are very good, but INSIST we play soccer, cats know what to do on a wet day.
