Rook with Personality

We took a tour around the Dingle Peninsula northwest of Killarney today. A number of  rooks appeared close by at our first stop, at Inch Beach. This one posed best, at the corner of a picnic table (with the beach as background) before taking flight. The weather was fantastically good for Ireland, sunny all day, in the low 70s F (ca. 23 C).  The extra gives a good impression of another sort of view. Altogether a wonderful trip, with only 15 of us and an excellent guide, in a small van.
