It's The Start We Were Both Hoping For..

A lovely day today starting with my first ever ride on Milo, he was a star. For a horse that was only backed 2 weeks ago to have a different person on board, he was as relaxed as anything. We just walked around the barn but it's the start we were both hoping for.

This afternoon it was our village fete/Great Get Together in memory of Jo Cox. It was a typically bonkers affair opening with the Shiptonthorpe Ravens, a local Steampunk Morris Dancing group that I have blipped before, I particularly like this shot as the lady on the right is my friend Jackie.

Finished off the day with dinner out and a trip to the cinema to see The Mummy...with a particularly unconvincing Tom Cruise!
