SPOT THE KIWI......
... had a superb Blip meet with our good ole mate from New Zealand - WildMooseChase in real life known as Geoff. His wonderful wife Julie also joined the fun.
Picked them up from the train out of Sydney, and we headed west to meet for a cuppa with Trisharooni, WalkingWombat, and Isbi.
Isbi, them joined us to show off the Leura cascades and once Hobbs got wind of waterfalls being on, he quickly joined the fun.
A super day seeing the sights, including checking out an expo by local Mountains Photographer Len Metcalf, and other overseas photographers as suggested to us by Gemaxphoto. It was great thanks Geoff.
We finished up at Hargraves Lookout, and my shot shows the size/depth of this valley. And have a look at Hobbs pano.
Reckon by now Geoff and Julie are safe back in their Sydney digs, thanks for coming out to catch up.
Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE
... just for fun I tried a "portrait" pano -see in extra - sort of worked showing me looking straight over the "not so" security fence right on the edge, up through the valley? The second extra shows the "over the fence look - yes it's a longggggg... way down!"
