The Tiny Cricket Who Lived in a Red Lily House

The red lilies are blooming in the butterfly garden, and they are getting lots of attention. The butterflies often come by for a look, and one morning, I saw a hummingbird hovering over them. (Wish I'd gotten THAT shot!)

On this particular day, I discovered inside one of the lilies a tiny, dark-colored cricket. (Although I do allow that it might be a grasshopper.) I can't even imagine what it must be like to live inside a bright red lily house in summertime. Colorful, to be sure!
