I saw this plaque for the garden in a shop in Toronto a few years ago and almost burst out laughing. Needless to say I purchased it immediately.

The weather is dull and miserable with a fine drizzle, the kind that absolutely soaks you. My heart goes out to all the guys and gals who are taking part in the Great North Run today. It's an awful shame the weather hadn't been better for you.

I'm looking forward to the return of Downton Abbey this evening :-)
