Life on the Edge

Backblip

The best weather we've had all week, so we decided to explore the other side of the Gairloch peninsula, stopping at the harbour en route and purchasing two very pretty bead necklaces from a gallery there.  The husband was a superb artist and the wife made the jewellery.

We drove the scenic single track road to Melvaig and beyond, taking endless shots of the sheep, the cliffs and the misty mountains in the distance.  The cliffs are much higher here than on the other side and we were amused by the fearless sheep lying right on the edge with a very long drop down to the sea below!

One of the shots in Extras is especially for Treshnish, as I know how much she loves rusty sheds and this one in Melvaig was a beauty:-)
