Pushing Up The Daisies

Another scorching day. Relaxing in the garden would have been nice, but we are trying to get things done before we go away, so it was on with the weeding for me, and TM laboured on a set of steps into the area we are renovating.

Later, we went out in search of  an old tower house that I'd heard about, but failed to find it. 

Instead, we walked round the churchyard at Cavers. It has a wonderful setting, looking out to the Minto Hills. It isn't very well tended - sad, as there are lots of interesting old stones now broken or pushed over for safety reasons. The wild flowers are doing quite well though.
