Crutches in the......

.....hedge!  Our friend R (she's the one in the green dress) broke her leg some 6 weeks ago & her carer (husband!) is slipping somewhat now!  When we got outside we found he'd stuck her crutches into our hedge....ostensibly to keep the plastic handles cool.  A good lunch with excellent friends - much wine, beer, talk, food including my delicious puddings but, my goodness, was it hot out there.  I kept in the shade as much as possible but still almost melted.  All clearing up now done and we can relax!  A fair bit of work really.
