Rescued Stray
Here's a photo of a plant I rescued from the stairs in the close, left behind by the girls who moved out of flat 1/1, looking happy in its new home! Today was a beautiful sunny day - t-shirt weather! In the morning I walked to work along the river and the birds were singing. It was like listening to a choir, crystal clear in the Sunday quiet. Lexxie had to cancel our meet up so in the afternoon I joined in with the Woodlands community clean up. I litterpicked a full bin bag in just a surprisingly small area. We have become accustomed to the amount of litter on our streets so it's almost become acceptable, but once you start picking it up, focusing on each piece individually, you realise how much of it there is and that we need to learn to treat our planet with more respect. I repotted my basil plants, as they needed more space to grow but now I have an awful lot of pots of basil that are looking for happy homes so if anyone would like one they are welcome to one.
TODAY:
I am grateful for - my amazing dad. It's Father's Day today and I want to thank mime for always being there for me no matter what and for being the best dad ever. Do not know what I would do without him - there is nobody else in the world I can phone for both an emotional rant and plumbing advice.
Special moment - running across the road to hug Natalie. A wonderful surprise to bump into her!
I love feeling confident wearing my new polka for Tshirt bought for 99p from a charity shop.
Things to be proud of - gave donations to Barnardos charity shop and joined in on the Woodlands community clean up
Affirmation - "I choose to create peace in my mind, my body and my world. All I is well"
