Trash Patrol

A group of volunteers, at least I assumed they were volunteers, walked Playa La Ropa this morning picking up trash. The hotels and restaurants along the beach usually clean up the area directly in front of their particular establishment, but that still leaves a number of unclaimed areas (probably a quarter of the beach). The beach in our sister community to the north gets daily cleanings, but our lovely beach only gets intermittent attention. We don't, however, have all the high-rise hotels, so the occasional visits are all that is really necessary.
