a royal visit

my big brother came to see me today.  so up early to prepare and tidy up a bit. this was taken around 8.00 am.
he wanted to take me out for lunch, but it really was too hot for getting into a car, so i made us fillet steak with garlic bread and salad instead.  and we discussed our advancing age, infirmities, and how wonderful our childhood in this place was.  

of course we discussed the Grenfell Tower tragedy too.  i had not realised that he'd taken over my father's spot on the The Royal Humane Society's committee.  he fully expects there to be medals awarded to those who attended the fire.
