My Colourful Monday!

One of my favourite things in the summer months is eating out on my balcony surrounded by all my lovely flowers and plants!

Here I am at breakfast time this morning! The French Press coffee has been made in the pot that keeps the coffee warm. The light cream is in the jug, homemade apricot jam and some marmalade and one of my dahlias in a vase.  I'm waiting for my guest to arrive who is bringing some fresh crunchy bread from the boulangerie (bread shop) opposite where I live.

The hydrangeas are really starting to bloom now and the birds are singing like crazy!

I'm so lucky to have a long balcony with the morning sun. Some town apartments don't have balconies at all.
