Hopetoun House

It's been a lovely day. Mr hazelh and I took a 53-mile sunny tandem ride from the city centre to the edge of Linlithgow and back via Corstorphine (and a dental appointment), the Dalmeny Estate, South Queensferry, Port Edgar, Hopetoun House, Blackness Castle, the Park Bistro (venison burgers for lunch), and the Union Canal. My blip is of Hopetoun House.

We met another couple with their newly-acquired tandem on the canal. It was their first trip out with it so we shared with them our enthusiasm for riding à deux.

I also heard today that a conference paper that Iris and I submitted a few weeks ago has been accepted for publication :-)

Exercise today: 53 miles of tandem riding.
