melting monday

the uk heatwave continues!!  Ice-cream for dinner is allowed in this weather isn't it?!  Just thought I'd check!

At least the heat has woken up some of the butterflies although this little chap wasn't in the mood for showing off his pretty wings - maybe it was even too hot for him!  Was 29 in the shade of our lounge this afternoon, and the thermometer on the south facing brick wall in the back garden had a reading of 45.......it sure felt like it!!
