Whatever the weather, there's always one who wants to try to use it as a reason not to work.

I lack sympathy. We didn't have air conditioning when I was at school.

The children who I do really feel for are those who are strictly observing the fast for Ramadan. Also, a number of colleagues who are also observing too. You are amazing. Takes a lot of determination I expect. Far more resilient than me in that regard.

Anyway, 34 degrees. It's like being in Spain, but without the booze or the pool.

Hopefully a decent thunderstorm later in the week after a couple of sizzling days.
