Bye Bye Birdie

A strange start to the working day when this little bird flew into my classroom and straight into a closed window. Unfortunately (and to the horror of all the children eating their toast at breakfast club) was no more. It had ceased to be. Bereft of life. It rests in peace. ..
It was another hot day but I had a fun afternoon teaching athletics with years 3,4,5&6 this afternoon.
Glad to have my boys back. We had Father's Day no. 2, a BBQ and a glass of wine in the garden. I love these warm evenings.
